John Guinta

John Guinta is a recording artist and musical performer who specializes in music for relaxation and yoga. Retired from a career as an air traffic controller, John is familiar with stress and the human condition. Also certified as a reflexologist and licensed massage therapist, John has spent a number of years helping people mitigate the effects of daily stress. John believes in the power of music as a universal tool for healing. He has taken his music into hospitals, hospice, corrections facilities, and physical rehabilitation centers, where it is well received. His rhythmic melodies, expressed on handpan, Kalimba and flute, add just the right tempo to a yoga class or relaxation session. Originally from New Orleans, John has lived in Florida for 30+ years, currently residing in the city of Jacksonville. Traveling regularly, John's travels have led to performance opportunities as far west as California and up the east coast to New York. He plays regularly in Florida and monthly in the New Orleans area.
